Nikos has been practising as a criminal lawyer for over 10 years. He has represented numerous victims, both corporates and individuals, in international and sensitive legal cases of economic crime, money laundering and fraud requiring highly sophisticated investigations. In addition, he has worked as a legal advisor to political parties and organisations in Greece on issues of legislation, transparency and transparency. He joined Axis&Co in 2021 and brings his deep knowledge of the country and its leaders as well as his strong skill sets on matters of white collar criminality.

Guillaume DÉSERT


Guillaume holds a master’s law degree from University of Poitier and Galway (Ireland), a degree from Institut d’Etudes politiques de Grenoble (Sciences Po) and a post graduate degree in international relations from Institut d’Etudes politiques de Paris (Sciences Po). In 2002, he joined the French army’s headquarters as a prospective analyst for the Balkan’s region. He founded in 2008, Delta consulting, an economic intelligence firm, which soon collaborated with Axis&Co.

With a Master of Arts in international politics and business, and Bachelor’s degree in international relations and history from New York University, Niels has been living in Asia since 2013.

Jean-Renaud FAYOL

Managing partner

A graduate of the Saint-Cyr Military Academy, Jean-Renaud has advised and assisted several opposition movements in many non-democratic states in Asia and Africa.

Prior to his involvement in the establishment of Axis at the end of 2005, Olivier served for almost 12 years in corporate finance advisory roles (mergers and acquisitions, capital investment) in groups such as BNP, Natixis, Ernst & Young Corporate Finance and Apax Partners Corporate Finance.

Nicolas DE RYCKE

Managing partner

Co-founder in 2000 of a consultancy firm specialised in internet-based influence, Nicolas participated in the establishment of Axis in late 2005 and Cartesian Lab in 2021.

Peter began his career in the print media, initially as a reporter in a Spanish media company specialised in analysing emerging markets, then as editorial director for the Davos World Economic Forum magazine.

Christophe ROUSSEL

Managing Partner

Christophe began his career in the world of politics as a member of a ministerial cabinet and of a member of parliament’s staff. In that context, he took an active part in several electoral campaigns both a local and national levels. He then worked as a political contributor and then journalist specialised in economic issues. In 2008 he founded Vox & Co which became, in 2020, Advox&Co the public affairs affiliate of Axis & Co. He carried out several high-profile corporate projects in international expansion, M&A and anti-fraud that allowed him to develop a deep understanding of complex decision-making mechanisms



Following a brief career as an army officer and engineer, during which he participated in the modernization of military intelligence IT systems, Denis worked for six years in a software company as an IT security management consultant.



After having taken part in several telecommunications projects in Greece, Venezuela and Germany with Deutsche Telekom, Jean Rodriguez joined Axis at the end of 2006. In particular, he directs cases of fraud and international counterfeiting, particularly in the Russian-speaking world and in Latin America.

Coralie AYRES


A graduate of Sciences Po Lille and the University of Oxford, Coralie worked for NATO in Brussels and for the defence and security consultancy IHS Jane’s in London before joining Axis in 2014.


Manager of Axis Helvetia

A graduate of the Ecole Polytechnique engineering school, the National School of Telecommunication Sciences and the Joint Service Defense College, Bertrand spent 26 years of his career as a Special Forces and intelligence officer, shared between operational units in France and abroad (Africa, South America, Central Asia, Balkans) as well as general staff positions.


Manager of Axis Middle East

A graduate in political science and strategic negotiation from the University Saint Joseph in Beirut, Maurice El Beaino has been representing defence and security companies for over 10 years in the Middle East.

The Axis&o consultancy team is comprised of multilingual analysts, graduates from the best universities in France and abroad, and technical experts in computer forensics and in cyber security.
